Life can be hard sometimes. The car won’t start, the cat pooped in your shoe, there’s new wrinkles almost every week, you can’t figure out which way is the right way to plug in that micro-USB cable. You know…real first world problems.
The folks over at Winnergear.com have recently dropped a product that can actually help with one of the above issues. Want take a guess as to which one? If you guessed cat poop shoe, you would be wrong. If you guessed USB, you would be 100% correct.
The MicFlip 2.0 is the latest in a rather quick series of editions of a product that started off as a great idea but wasn’t exactly well-executed. That is, until now. The 2.0 makes a clean break from the past quality issues and performs as promised.
This latest edition is thus far available in one color combination (red cable/black terminals) and one length (200cm) and it is perfectly suitable for most of your plugging-in-a-gadget needs. The MicFlip 2.0 is the first fully reversible USB cable and it is pretty darn boss. Not only is the micro-USB end of the cable reversible, but the other end is, too. This means plugging in, no matter what your state of being, is easy-peasy.
After almost a month, both ends have been plugged in countless times (Pokemon drains batteries very quickly), and so far, there’s no signs of wear at all. This is a significant improvement over previous designs and a sure sign that Winnergear has worked the bugs out of its production line for this product. Best of all, thanks to all this reversibility, plugging this cable in, whether the micro or standard USB end, requires almost no brainpower at all. First world problem solved.
